Samsung Galaxy Note 8 price in Pakistan – All Specifications

Here is a detailed review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. So let’s get started:

Price:

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was priced at around 99,999  Pakistani rupees in Pakistan.

Design:

The design of the Galaxy Note 8 is based on a scaled-up version of that of the Galaxy S8. This was because it integrated many of the major improvements made to the previous version’s design. The Infinity Display was a part of this; it eliminated the home button in favor of a larger display. The square chassis, in contrast to the rounded edges, makes it seem more premium. Samsung pioneered this technology.

The Galaxy Note 8 is 195 grams in weight and measures 162.5 by 74.8 by 8.6 millimeters. With an aluminum frame and a glass rear, it has the same high-quality construction for which Samsung is renowned.

Memory:

  • RAM: 6GB
  • Internal Storage: 64GB 128/256GB (expandable up to 256 gigabytes).

Camera:

Samsung’s first smartphone to include a rear-facing dual-camera configuration is the Note 8. Each camera has a 12-megapixel sensor and OIS, but their focal lengths and apertures are different. You can get an optical zoom of between 1x and 2x from the combination of the two cameras—a regular cellphone  and a “telephoto” lens.

The regular camera has the same amazing all-around performance as any of Samsung’s prior premium cameras, including the Galaxy S8. It focuses quickly, produces accurate colors, and captures fine details. It performs well even when illumination levels are low. It’s not quite the greatest camera available, but it’s close. The use of a telephoto lens comes with a few benefits and drawbacks. While the added proximity can be helpful in some circumstances, the quality of the photos taken is noticeably lower than with a regular camera, especially in low-light settings.

Connectivity:

Here are some of the connectivity features:

  1. Cellular Connectivity: The Note 8 supports 4G LTE networks and is capable of download speeds of up to 1 Gbps.
  2. Wi-Fi: The Note 8 supports 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi standards, allowing you to connect to a Wi-Fi network for internet access.
  3. Bluetooth: The Note 8 supports Bluetooth 5.0, which provides faster data transfer speeds and longer range than the previous Bluetooth versions.
  4. NFC: Near Field Communication (NFC) is also available on the Note 8, which allows you to transfer data between two devices by simply touching them together.
  5. GPS: The Note 8 has a GPS receiver that allows you to use location-based services like Google Maps and other navigation apps.
  6. Other connectivity features include support for Samsung DeX, which allows you to use your Note 8 as a desktop computer.

Sensors:

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has several sensors, including:

  1. Accelerometer: This sensor measures the device’s acceleration and orientation in three-dimensional space, allowing the device to know when it’s being moved or tilted.
  2. Gyroscope: This sensor works alongside the accelerometer to provide more accurate measurements of the device’s orientation and movements.
  3. Barometer: This sensor measures atmospheric pressure, which can be used to estimate altitude and weather changes.
  4. Proximity sensor: This sensor detects when the phone is close to an object or surface, such as when it’s held up to the user’s ear during a phone call.
  5. Ambient light sensor: This sensor adjusts the device’s display brightness based on the surrounding light levels.
  6. Fingerprint sensor: This sensor is used for biometric authentication and can be found on the back of the device.
  7. Heart rate sensor: This sensor measures the user’s heart rate and is located on the back of the device near the camera.
  8. Iris scanner: This sensor uses infrared light to scan the user’s iris for biometric authentication.
  9. Magnetometer: This sensor measures the strength and direction of magnetic fields, which can be used for compass and navigation applications.

Battery:

The Note 8 and the Galaxy S8 family have the same processor, graphics processor, and internal storage capacities, but the Note 8 has twice as much RAM. It has the same performance as the S8, but better multitasking.

In terms of raw performance, it would seem that the OnePlus 5 is superior than the Note 8, yet the Note 8 continues to impress even while rapidly moving between many taxing apps. The Note 8 maintained a good amount of battery life even while being used for prolonged periods of time when engaging in gaming or viewing movies with its display brightness cranked up to the maximum and video enhancing tools activated.

Pros:

  1.  It has large and vibrant display
  2. Excellent camera: It has a dual-camera setup.
  3. S Pen: The Galaxy Note 8 comes with a stylus called the S Pen, which allows users to write and draw on the screen. The S Pen also offers features such as Live Messages, which lets users send animated messages, and Screen off memo, which lets users take notes on the screen even when the phone is locked.
  4.  It is water and dust resistance.
  5. Wireless charging: The Galaxy Note 8 supports wireless charging, which means users can charge the phone by placing it on a charging pad.
  6. Good battery life: The Galaxy Note 8 has a 3,300mAh battery, which is capable of providing a full day of usage on a single charge.
  7. Expandable storage: There is a slots for microSD cards on the Galaxy Note 8 that can be used to increase the phone’s storage capacity by up to 256GB.

Cons:

  1. Expensive price tag: It is a premium smartphone with a high price tag compared to other smartphones in the market.
  2. Large size: It has a large screen, which makes it difficult to use with one hand and may not fit comfortably in some pockets.
  3. Battery life: Some users may find that the battery life of the Note 8 is not sufficient for their needs, especially with heavy usage.
  4. Bloatware: Samsung’s proprietary software and pre-installed apps, which cannot be removed, may take up space and slow down the device.
  5. Fragile design: The Note 8 has a glass back and front, which makes it susceptible to cracking or breaking if dropped.
  6. No headphone jack: The Note 8, like many newer smartphones, does not have a traditional headphone jack, which may be a drawback for some users who prefer wired headphones.
  7. S Pen may not be useful for everyone: While the S Pen stylus is a unique feature of the Note 8, not all users may find it useful or necessary for their needs.

Conclusion:

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is much the same as the rest of the Note series’ classics. Despite incorporating all of the functions that made previous Notes worth buying into Samsung’s new smartphone design, the Galaxy S8 doesn’t feel particularly novel or unique.

This in no way limits the Note 8’s performance. The battery lasts for approximately two days before needing to be recharged, the screen is large and beautiful (with little bezels), and the device is waterproof. The phone’s twin camera arrangement on the back is amazing, and its processing power allows it to perform just about everything I could want from a pocket computer.

While the Galaxy Note 8 is now a few years old and has been succeeded by newer models in the Galaxy Note series, it remains a solid option for those looking for a large-screened smartphone with a high-quality camera and productivity features.
